Today, after much procrastination, I started this blog about my mom. She's been my role model and pillar of strength all my life, and I've been wanting to do this for ages. One of the main reasons is that there've been so many inaccuracies in articles published about her, that I wanted to set the facts out, 100% correct, to document her life and its achievements. For the most part, the posts will be written by me after interviewing my mom. Some of the time, I'll include posts by others, always acknowledging authorship. I sincerely hope my mom will allow me to post some of her writing, too.
That's it, for now. As from the next time, I'll be writing my mother's life story, as narrated by her. How's that for a cool collaboration?

Thanks! I'm very excited, as it's been on my mental To Do list for years. Feel free to e-mail me an article, some memories or comments as we go along. At some stage, I might set up a Facebook page, but I prefer the blog concept, for many reasons, especially because you don't have to join anything in order to read it. For me personally, I get to combine a lot of elements I'm passionate about. And this story needs to be told from the inside, out! :-)
